Experience
I have been a counselor for almost eleven years with counseling experience in community, public and charter school systems. I have primarily counseled at the secondary level in an educational setting. I have experience in facilitating counseling groups as well as family counseling. I possess a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential, Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Licensed School Counselor (LSC, NT, K12).

Counseling Relationship
You and I can develop a professional relationship and work towards a goal or goals that we will develop together during our individual sessions. Though our sessions together may become psychologically intimate, please keep in mind that the relationship that you and I develop is limited to a professional relationship only. This means that we will only meet in a professional setting.

Confidentiality
The information that you and I discuss will remain confidential. Our sessions will remain confidential, unless you mention that you may harm yourself or others, if there is reason to suspect neglect to the elderly or children, and or if there is reason to suspect child abuse.

Counseling Approach and Effect
Counseling is a personal exploration of your life. You may be sharing very personal aspects of your thoughts and actions, which can bring about varying results. Entering into counseling may have positive and negative effects. There may be serious changes in your personal life and/or your decisions. These changes may impact people that are around you, such as family and friends. Our sessions may become emotionally uncomfortable at times, but if you are to receive the best results from our sessions, it is imperative that you and I work together to achieve the goals that we determine. If you ever have concerns or questions about the work that we do, feel free to let me know.

Fees
The counseling services fee that I assess is $170 per session. (sliding scale is available based on need).
